Marie Coles became interested in her Family’s History in 1963 at the age of 12 after years of listening to her Grandparents and Great Grandparents stories, there began her love of Genealogy. She began her family history before computer’s existed and travelled on trains to look at books and microfishes in libraries and churches.
Marie began work as a Book Researcher in 1984 and spent years researching and aquiring documents, books and archives for Teachers at Universities,Colleges,High Schools and Primary throughout Australia. Marie recently completed the ‘Introduction to Family History’ at UTAS – she is currently enrolled for the Convicts Unit at UTAS
